1 Killed, Another Injured In Road Accident In Assam's Hojai

Guwahati: A minor girl was killed and while another girl was critically injured in a road accident in Doboka town in Assam's Hojai district on Sunday.

The incident occurred at National Highway no 36, where a speeding vehicle hit both the girls following which one died on spot while the other girl was grievously injured.

According to reports, both the girls were from Sarupathar and came to visit their relative's home in Doboka.

After hitting the duo, the four-wheeler fled from the scene.

The injured girl was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Hojai for further treatment.

The identity of the both the girls is yet to be ascertained.
